I encourage all families to step in from of my camera each year and document your unique and special bond, the spirit and the personality of your family.
Time flies too fast, our families grow, children are a year older, then two years older and we regret not capturing those moments. Family portraits will become treasure photos for years come. Your children will adore looking back on family pictures with Mom&Dad and be thankful that those memories were captured.

ARE THESE MINI OF FULL SESSIONS?
I offer only MINI sessions which are normally 20 minutes in length. They are great for updating your family portraits a year or so. They’re also ideal for “themed” photos throughout the year, marking special events like pregnancy and kids milestones. These sessions take place at a pre-determined location with props to suit the theme/location. Clients are able to select their favorite images from an online proof gallery.
WHAT MINI SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
Selection of minis shoots offered changes each year. But these are the most popular ones I host every year: Apple Blossom sessions, Fall minis and Christmas family sessions. There are also "themed" sessions for children like Easter minis, sessions in lupins and wildflowers. I announce mini session dates to clients via newsletters and on Facebook a month or so before the shoot.
CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN LOCATION?
Mini sessions take place only at a pre-determined location. I do a lot of location scouting to make sure I pick the perfect spot for each round of minis. There are a lot of things to consider when choosing a perfect spot like the scene’s compositional elements, foreground and background distance, quality of light there. Therefore having it done beforehand guarantees that we don't waste your time on that during your session and you get beautiful images in the end.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE?
Mini sessions are for single-family units only. This basically means your immediate family. There is a short amount of time to work with therefore it's best to keep the subject count to a minimum (up to 4 people). If you want to include grandparents or other loved ones, I recommend booking 2 spots.
WHAT SHOULD BE WEAR?
Personally, I love soft neutral tones. I what YOU to be the shining light in the photos we take. Before the session, I will send you the outfit coordination ideas. Also, you are welcome to send me photos of the outfits you are putting together so that I can share my expert opinion with you what will look best on camera.
HOW MUCH DO MINI SESSIONS COST?
Mini sessions are $200-250 and normally include 10-15 edited images. Please feel free to contact me for upcoming mini sessions details and pricing and to reserve your spot ahead of time. Availability is limited. Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure the date/time of the session.
