This is such a special time for you as parents, getting to know this new little person. That unique newborn stage seems to fly away ever so quickly.
That is why I love capturing those fleeting moments with your newborn in photographs that will last a lifetime. I assure you of the utmost care and consideration when photographing your new baby.

HOW DO WE DECIDE ON A SHOOT DATE?
So, you are counting down the days until you finally get to meet your little angel. Don’t forget to contact the Photographer to schedule your shoot, once you find out your due date. I will keep your due date on file and stay in touch with you as the exciting day approaches, making adjustments to fit you in at just the perfect time. Newborn photo sessions are best done within the first 6 - 14 days. This is when they are still curled up, easy to pose, and hopefully sleeping all the time!
WHAT STYLE DO YOU SHOOT?
My style is artistic, pure and natural. Irina Art Photography strives to create beautiful and timeless images of your newborn that you will cherish forever.
I specialize in posed newborn photography. I just love posing sleepy newborns and capturing all their perfect little tiny details. I've learnt this art from some of the best newborn photographers in the industry and I am newborn safety trained, so your sweet miracle will be in the best hands.
WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
The newborn photo session is held only in my studio, located in Dieppe, NB. You will have access to all my props, professional equipment, and everything else we need to create images like the ones you see.
CAN WE HAVE OUR SESSION ON THE WEEKEND?
Newborn sessions are held Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. If absolutely necessary, we can open the studio on a weekend, but please let us know well ahead of time to check availability. Weekend sessions are charged at +$100.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW BEFORE THE SESSION?
Newborn sessions usually take between 1,5-3 hours, as they include time for feeding, settling, and cleaning up little accidents. A happy SLEEPY baby guarantees a smooth session. A couple of days before your session you will receive a very detailed preparation guide helping you to prepare your little one and yourself for the session.
DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS AND ACCESSORIES?
Most of my work is done using wraps, covers and nude. I have a beautiful selection of props including baskets, blankets, furs, wraps, hats, headbands and lots more that will be used throughout the session. The outfits and props that I use are made especially for newborn babies and are soft and sweet. Before the session, we will discuss your preferences in terms of colours and looks, so all set ups were ready by the moment you enter the studio.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Newborn sessions range from $380 to $750. Please see the details HERE.
A retainer of $100 is due at the time of booking to secure your date.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PICTURES?
The work doesn’t stop for me once you leave the studio. I will carefully go over all the photos and choose the very best ones. It takes approximately 2-3 weeks to receive the link to your high-resolution digital images. I take very special care during post-processing to create beautiful final pictures for your family to enjoy for years to come. All the photos are fully edited and retouched by hand. Once you receive the final gallery you can select your favourite images for wall art or unique specialty products, such as photo boxes and matted prints. The products can take 2-4 weeks for delivery.
