With all my cake smashes I ask parents beforehand what they would like the theme and/or colours to be for their session. Little Adit’s Dad told me that he loves nature, animals and going to the forest. I knew a jungle theme would fit very well, and I was so happy with how this custom theme turned out!
Since guys were coming all the way from Saint John, I was worried that Adit won’t be in the mood for his session. But he had a good nap in the car and a snack after, so he was happy and excited when they entered my studio.
He wasn’t too sure about me at first when we did his pre-cake portrait, but the cake part was a success! I captured so many hilarious expressions from him while he was smashing, eating and playing with the cake.
The next day after the session his parents reviewed the images and chose their collection, which was extremely hard, as they told me, - too many great shots. The final result was absolutely stunning, and I look forward to presenting this new beautiful theme for parents.
